THE IMPORTANT DETAILS
A clear place
to begin.
These terms explain what it means to use the Union Financial website and submit a partnership inquiry.
Partnership inquiries
About this website
Union Financial coordinates the design of merchant-branded debit programs with credit unions. Descriptions and illustrations on this website are informational and do not constitute an offer of a financial product or benefit.
Your inquiry is not a commitment
Submitting an inquiry, sharing a pricing preference, or expressing intent to participate in a pilot is nonbinding and does not create a contract or obligation to participate. It is not a payment authorization, a charge, or an application to open a financial account. Participation requires separate terms and agreement.
Illustrative economics
A merchant would pay normal card processing costs plus a separate program fee on qualifying recurring bills, not on everyday purchases or ACH. A 5% program fee would fund a 5% bill reward on a reward-only basis, before issuer contributions, everyday-spend funding, operating costs or margin. It is an illustration, not a final commercial quote; the agreed fee could differ.
The supplied interchange assumption of 1.65% + $0.15 is illustrative, not a universal rate or all-in processing quote. Actual processor, network and other charges vary and may be additional. Union Financial does not set interchange rates or require a change to merchant routing rights.
Accounts and rewards
Union Financial is not a bank or card issuer. Any account or branded debit card would be issued by a credit union, subject to its field-of-membership and account eligibility, the approved program structure and agreements. Implementation depends on required issuer, processor, network and compliance approvals.
The enhanced recurring-bill reward has a design target of 5% of a qualifying bill, intended for an account owned by the customer’s offspring. It is subject to final issuer terms, not a guaranteed or approved offer. The everyday cash-back rate, precise multiplier reference, eligibility, caps and settlement terms are not established on this website. Savings and tax or estate outcomes are not guaranteed.
Partner responsibilities
The credit union handles its banking and compliance obligations. Merchants retain responsibility for their own legal and compliance review, including eligibility, fees and disclosures about optional payment methods. This website does not provide legal advice.
